How to find and book TPG's deal of the day
We used the time-saving Seats.Aero tool to quickly find availability between North America and Portugal throughout the summer.
For the best deal, we recommend booking through Air Canada's Aeroplan program. For a one-way business-class flight from the northeast to Portugal, you'll need just 60,000 points per person, plus minimal fees, taxes and surcharges of around $50, depending on the origin and destination for the lowest reward.
Availability from the West Coast of the U.S. to Portugal requires a slightly higher 70,000 points for the lowest reward, but it is still a terrific deal for such a long overnight flight.
You can book these flights online through the Aeroplan website. However, remember that credit card transfers to partner programs like Aeroplan cannot be reversed — so ensure you find availability before transferring points.
Business-class passengers can select seats for free and bring one full-sized carry-on bag (22 inches by 16 inches by 10 inches), plus one personal item (16 inches by 12 inches by 5 inches) and two checked bags of up to 70 pounds each.
